WIT Surf Club

    Hi lads,

    I was disappointed to see that there was no surf club at the clubs and socs open day this year. In the previous years there has been a club but they tend to fade away and become inactive.

    Anyway, i and a few friends of mine have decided to set up the club this year ourselves. We are only beginners but we are enthuastic to keep up the sport. In the next few days im going to start looking for members to join.

    So i was wondering if there is much interest out there for this club? Also, does anyone want to help run the club?

    Hi,
    Tramore Surf School & Shop, The Pavillon, run by the Butlers always had some involvement with this club. They gave decent deals etc. for people from WIT.

    I suggest giving them a shout as I know they expressed an interest in such a club this year. Tell them Kevin sent you so they know what your on about :)

    Ya i've already talked to that shop and a few others about students deals, group bookings etc. so i've done a bit of leg work but a club in nothing without members n i need to know if i'd get any..... :/

    Hold an open day on both campuses, just get a desk, a sign, a surfboard, and you should be sorted.
