DC Police Chevy Suburban responding to emergency call somehow gets inside a closed set and has a collision with the Bumblebee Camaro being used to film the Transformers 3 movie. This was not in the script or part of the movie.
    Uh-oh!

Maybe he can use parts from another transformer to fix himself... That's how optimus came back alive at the end of the 2nd one wasn't it?

On a serious not it shows how bad the handling and turning circle is on the car.

I love the way there wasn't a scratch on the Chevy.

    They are both Chevy's.

How? He was told to take the corner at this speed, this direction, someone put a cop car there unscripted. Nothing to do with handling, it didnt loose control and smash into a set piece.

The handling on the Camaro SS (presume SS) is pretty good for a $32,000 car.

To me it looked like the cop car was supposed to be there and the camaro was supposed to drift out to follow the other transformers.

But but... did you not read the text in the original post at all? Apart form the fact it was going way too slow to drift out and the real cop driver is in the hospital... talk about conjecture!

In fairness, where did you pull that from? Have you seen or written the script?

I said that's what it looked like to me. Partly because optimus didn't stop, nobody yelled cut, and the car was trying to turn.

It wasn't trying to turn, it was turning, sucessfully. Then some cop arrived where there was no one supposed to be.

I though they'd finished filming by now and that this was just a stunt to get some publicity. What do we think of the skid at the end? Front wheels facing foward and loads of smoke from the lock up. No ABS?

I'm sure they do - they would be really ill-prepared if they thought nothing would happen to any of the cars while filming.

...if not, one comes off the line every minute and fifteen seconds or so.
