    Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been brought up before but I could'nt find any info on it when I did a search. Does anyone know if the proposed train station in Dunboyne ever opened? Im looking to buy out in that direction and this would make a huge difference to my decision...

    Thanks

do a search on irishrail.ie timetable to give you the times you need if you are commuting into the city. (note the Dunboyne service only goes to Docklands station in the IFSC and not city centre as such - but you can change at Clonsilla to connect to Connolly/Tara/Pearse stations/Dart etc)

As a tip, when I was making a decision to buy my home, I tested the commute from my workplace to the nearest station of the house I was considering to buy(Clonsilla) just to get an accurate door to door time of how long my commute would actually take. Sometimes real estate spiel can exaggerate proximity (eg Enfield minutes from Dublin etc).

Good luck with your house hunt!

    Hi LeahK,
We too are thinking of buying in Dunboyne, How did you get on reviewing the area? Know its off the topic of the train times;) but its proving difficult finding an area to 'settle down' in
    Thanks. P.
