    Howdy

How much time do I have to make a criminal case against someone?

As it was a bit of time ago, I don't remember date on which it happend or I reported that to garda at a time. Am I "eligable" to go thru?

    best regards

depends on nature of complaint. Summary matters must be commenced within 6 months of the alleged offence, indictable has no specific time limit but must be commenced within time so as not to prejudice the defendant.

I don't expect that you will know which your complaint may be. Go to your local garda station and explain that you want to make a complaint, they will take it from there.

Well it depends are we talking technical merit or artistic impression ?

In all seriousness and to address what you're getting at...there are two forms of trespass, one is summary, one is indictable. Robbery is theft using force or the threat of force against a person and is indictable. An attempt to commit an indictable offence is punishable as a substantive offence, i.e. for our purposes it doesn't matter whether its an attempt or an actual.

Mentioning trespass makes me think you may mean burglary as opposed to robbery. That's indictable.

Indictable offences are all serious. Burglaries and robberies are viewed as very serious.

Go to garda station & seek to make complaint.
