    Been looking into a lads trip to Hamburg next may. Anyone know if it would be a good place to head to?
    We also looked at Hannover as it was an option with flight so if anyone has any info on there to would be appreciated

    Hamburg was one of the, if not the, least favourite city I've visited on my various holidays. I found it run-down and unfriendly with little worth seeing.
    If you want to go to Germany, I'd recommend Munich instead - lovely city.

    I'm heading to Munich with the mrs in dec for the christmas markets so didnt fancy that again. Plus there's gonna be a few guys going from the UK and Munich was out as they'd have to travel a good bit to get to an airport that would fly there. We wanted to go to places none of us had ever been to and the only other place that came up was Geneva. Not sure what that place would be like for a lads weekend away. We just sort of fancied germany again as we went to Dusseldorf earlier this yr and had a great time.

    I loved Hamburg. I thought it was really pretty, nice places to go out and good places to eat!
