This episode will make or break the show once and for all. If this is the start of the new interesting and not boring storyline then great, let's all rejoice and hope that SyFy gives this show a chance. Personally I don't think we're going to see much change this week but I'd definitely like to be wrong.

    WHAT THE FRACK!?

This must be the reboot episode. This is back to what made BSG amazing. Good story, good action, things happening that are advancing the story.
Expect the unexpected. Loved Clarice throwing the TV into the bath.

Daniel has decided to do what needs to be done, no matter the cost.

Is it just me, or is the BSG style time/place at the bottom new to Caprica? I feel like we haven't seen it yet in this show like we did in BSG. IDK why, but it really worked in this episode.

I actually liked Amanda in the scene in the hospital, but the one Amanda scene that was stupid is where they replayed her thinking about exactly what just happened like 30 seconds before that. But overall at least Amanda is badass now too..

No Zoe and the Adama girl (goes to show how poor the show has been thus far if I can't even remember her name - think of the # of characters in BSG whose name you could remember... probably 5 times more than Caprica) weren't just randomly thrown in this episode. It makes me think that next episode will be more focused on those 2 and V-world.

I genuinely think this is the reboot and if the show stays like this I would like to see it go to a 2nd season.
Problem now is that I'm going to start really getting into the show and they're going to shítcan it.

I thought it was pretty good as well, from a production standpoint it was visually very good, loved the rain soaked episode...gave great atmosphere to the ep.

They finally advanced the plot, and detective guy laying it all down was good and about time!, this is what the show needed, a kick up the arse...get things moving. It did seem like a reboot episode alright, i liked that ep. and the best since the VR episode.

    Ratings, down again....it's dead lads:

    Caprica

Wow, not much discussion on this episode. Could it be that everyone's stopped watching, or just waiting to see what the reviews are like? Anyway, I wasn't that impressed. Sure, it was a bit different, not too much with the spiritual crap, bit of a shame they killed off James Marsters, a bit more unrest in the ranks of the STO could have been bloody and violent.

Nothing of the virtual world, which is strange given the ending of last weeks episode. Lends credence to this being the actual first reboot episode. Too little too late though, I think.

I'll keep watching till it dies, which will be soon.

I wasn't too impressed. I enjoyed the first half of the season but there's been far too much religious mumbo jumbo in the last two episodes.

I just saw this - thought it was a great episode.
Amanda finally gained relevance and did something other than cry.
