Lanzarote Advice please!

    Hi there,

Would appreciate some advice please from anyone who has been.

Booking a first holiday to Lanzarote over the winter - with the folks (in their late 60's - not drinkers - like walks but their legs are not what they used to be!), the husband, and the 18 month old son.

Going there just for a break, and to relax, but don't know which resort to choose. Needs to cater for the grandparents and child more than looking for nightlife.

    Would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks,

    Audders

Matagorda, which is a continuation of Puerto Del Carmen heading back towards the airport would generally be generally be flatter(less hilly) than Puerto Del Carmen. It's also served by the local bus(Puerto Del Carmen<-> Arrecife). For these reasons, it might suit your purposes.:)

Matagora would be your best bet, its a lovely walk down and back from puerto del carmen, its flat aswell and a 3-4 taxi into the much busier resort of dem carmen

This place is in PDC but on the airport side, is quiet and is fairly level. My Old Pair have been there twice and are returning in January, they're aged mid and late 70's and not big drinkers.
