E36 BMW ABS light on, diagnostic tool needed

11-10-2010 4:36pm#1As above, ABS came on a while back in my 1993 E36 and I'm too cheap to pay a garage to diagnose it if anyone close has a diagnostic tool?
It came on one day and stayed on since, it could be the sensor rather than the module but I don't want to go swapping parts unless I know what to swap.
No other warning lights on, everything else fine (meters etc).
