Old cable connection and UPC

Hi there i was looking to get upc for an apartment im renting which has a cable connection from before ntl went digital. Im just wondering if i ask for upc broadband will this result in them cancelling that free connection and would i have to pay for cable tv from now on. Hope someone has experience with this. All help…

If you're getting free cable, that's stealing. Pay for what you use. Anything else can't be discussed.
