Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hey just trying to gather info. on the topic of the report below. I posted it in a couple of boards.ie sections already, it was locked in one, because it was the wrong place, and it was recommended to post it here - so hopefully that doesn't breach any rules.

    Does anyone have any info. on it, is it something to be concerned about? Can it easily be checked in the household, how can a person reduce dirty electricity emissions?

    What are the alternative energy saving light bulbs in Ireland? Is it predominantly CFLs that are available, or sold? Is it easy to tell from the packaging whether a light bulb is CFL? Are LED lights widely available?

    I'm waiting (not) for the day that the experts will tell us conclusively that smoking is good for us. I can't argue with the science excerpt shown in the video here but I would prefer to see some medical evidence in the New England Journal of Medicine and then I might consider paying more attention
