Trolls paid on websites?

Seen a section on a news programme on BBC1, on around 5 or 4, (newsround?) that claimed:
Owners of websites and others who own rival sites now pay people to "troll" on these webpages, to:

    A) Test out their moderators, admins etc to see their potential resistence to infiltrators

    B) Rival owners do so to cause trouble and increase traffic on their own sites and therefore sometimes money from advertising.

These trolls are IT students and get the minimum wage in the UK. Some website promotions Ltd runs this and may have job placements on there/

So with all these lack of jobs, could internet trolling be the way forward?

I could turn it into a new career alright.
I'd probably be fired quite quickly though..

You obviously didn't spend long enough at Troll School, because you haven't managed to wind somebody up yet.

Website Promotions Ltd does a placement but you must a have a degree in an IT related field. It's a UK based firm as well.

    The competition is high also.

Agreed, they have no experience of the life of a troll. As I say time and time again in the jobs forum.

    DEGREES MEAN NOTHING, WITHOUT EXPERIENCE

Experience is the first thing potential employers look for on a CV.

I wonder what a professional troll's CV looks like...

And, you, Jake, have that experience in abundance. You should set up a school or something. Troll school. Night classes, 80 quid for 10 weeks, job's a good'n.

I've a wealth of experience in trolling but my lack of an IT degree precludes me from applying.

I'm just informing "the people" of available jobs. I'm helping out in tough times for alot of people, this is no joke.

It's a waste of time having something that doesn't do what it says on the tin.
