I presume there are no aerial points in the appartment.

no unfortunately not, its all wired for chorus/upc etc so looks like i'll have to pay that charge p/mth. Because its an apart complex i reckon i'm restricted to adding satelites, outdoor antennas etc.
I have been googling on this and other sites but its hards to knwo what booster to be buying.

A "booster" wont help you if you don't have a good signal coming from the aerial in the first place. You need a better aerial what kind are you using?

What direction is the window facing, do you have line of sight for a UHF aerial to point out the window to a main transmitter?

That is a poor aerial, is there anywhere you can put an outdoor aerial indoors that wouldn't take up too much room? do you have any sort of a balcony area that you might get away with putting it?

yeah i can try for something at back of apart, im on ground floor but certainly I could not put any cables through walls though, thats why i was hoping for something like an indoor job.

    Similar situation myself.

How much should I be paying for a good 'outdoor' aerial?
