Hi there.

Apologies if this post is a bit vague.

I'm looking to go away on holiday in January for 10 - 14 days, was originally planning New Zealand but now I can't help but feel there might be a better, more interesting, cheaper, closer destination. So I guess I'm just looking for your opinions based on experience.

My only "must have" is warm weather. So it can be anywhere sunny, I have narrowed it down to that direction, i.e. Oz, NZ, Asia, etc.

At the moment I am looking at NZ, Malaysia, Thailand so if anyone has any advice please throw it this way.
