not sure if this is the best place to put this, but we are looking at puttin a brick mantel over our cooker (similar to this http://wordpress.yell.com/food-drink/files/2010/05/brick-mantel.jpg)

Would anyone now how this would be incorparated into/on the kitchen units. The extractor fan would need to be placed behind the block. If anyone has any experience of something like this i would love to know the process you went through.
