I had previously posted on another thread about buying my first set of clubs. I contacted a store in Dublin which sell from their site as well regarding a set of clubs. They responded. Following this I asked whether they would price match other stores and they said yes. I then asked if they would price match another retail price which I had seen in a store in Limerick. After this they stopped responding and also ignored an email I sent about advice for a first set of clubs.

I suppose my real questions are why do shops do this? This is not the first time this has happened. Some shops are incredibly efficient at replying and valuing your custom. These days when businesses are all so hard pushed for business why do they not make the effort to respond to their customers? Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
