Crude Hotmail Scam

    Just received this in my inbox and can't think where else to post it! Of course I can't find anywhere on MSN. A very crude attempt at a scam but be warned.

    Might be crude and have all the obvious signs of a scam but it will catch a few people I'm sure.

    Any indications from the header what part of the world it was sent from?

    And another today - this one is so old at this stage. The person supposed to have sent it to me is a quintessential English lady with perfect English. They would need to come up with something original. :rolleyes:


    I am in hurry writing you this message and i hope you get it on time, sorry I didn't inform you about my trip in England for a Program. It has been a very sad and bad moment for me here, the present condition that i found myself is very hard for me to explain. I am really stranded here in England because I was attacked and robbed on the way to my hotel, all cash, document's and cell phone which i have all my contacts were stolen off me. Presently I have limited access to internet, I will like you to assist me urgently with a soft loan of $2,670 to sort-out my hotel bills and to get myself back home. I have spoken to the embassy here but they are not responding to the matter effectively, I will appreciate whatever you can afford to assist me with, I'll Refund the money back to you as soon as i get home without any delay. Please let me know if you can be of help so that I can send you the details on how to send the money to me via western union.
