    Whatever shoots the best.
Seriously, try a few different brands and styles of projectile.
Some common ones are Remington , Federal , and Hornady, at the end of the day it will come down to what is available as well.
Federal seems to be hard to get this year, and Winchester seems to be very expensive.
The choice is yours whether you go for Ballistic tip or Soft point but your rifle and setup is unique and only you will know what works best.
    My Browning A-bolt likes Hornady.

thanks,my old gun zeroed on lapua 90 grain soft points a treat, but the new gun seems a bit fussy, just cant get lapua round here except naturlis ballistic tips not only are they pricey but they smash up the deer to much

    What twist is it 1:10?
Most .243 will shoot best with 85-90 gn stuff,
I have never used Lapua Naturalis it's too dear.

Maybe give RWS 100grain T-Mantel (Soft Point) a twirl. Good bullet IMO.

I think I remember seeing them advertised by the Sports Shop, Kilkenny in the ISD. Also I think McBride in Athlone stocks them aswell. You can get contact details for both in the shooting - for sale/wanted under the Firearms Dealer Directory thread.

You could also try your local RFD and see if its possble to order if they dont stock them?

Norma would also be a good option. I find ORYX quite good. I think they are chambered in 100gr for .243
Then again, its really down to what your gun likes, you like and your budget but most guns usually like quality ammo however most pockets dont. :D

    Hope this helps.

thanks, thats a funny thing about money, i`d rather spend the extra and get it right, typical example is a guy who used to shoot with us, 1400 for a howa rifle and put a 99 euro air gun scope on it !
