Erasing data from iPhone

So I'm selling my old iPhone. I thoughgt I'd better get rid of any data/personal information that was on it. I went to settings, reset, erase all contents and settings and let it work its magic.

When it had finished it came up like a brand new iPhone i.e. plug it in to iTunes etc. Now I'm wondering if I've done the right thing? It was officially unlocked. Will it still be when the new owner synchs it? It was running the latest software, will it still be?

    Feel like a twat! :o

Erase All Content & Settings was the right thing to do. That removed all your personal data and settings from the phone. It doesn't effect the phones official unlock status.
