I know its early days but am planning on going InterRailing next year to eastern Europe and looking for ideas. i have the following itinerary worked out. I have in the region of 3-4 weeks.

I think I won't bother with an actual inter rail pass as from pricing train tickets it comes in well under the cheapest pass available.

    Fly into -
Berlin, spend a day or two here
    - onto Prague for a few days
-I would like to go to Bled in Slovenia but its a long train ride i know
    - then onto Budapest
    - head then for Transylvania (Cluj, Brasov etc,
    - take in some beaches along the black sea coast at Constanta
    - either take ferry from here to Odessa or Istanbul for a few days
    -return to Dublin.

Has anyone been to romania/odessa/Istanbul in particular ?
