I have 2 betting accounts. one with skybet and one with betfair. I want to withdraw my money from the sky account but they charge £25 for this if you dont have a UK bank account.
What id like to do is make a bet on both accounts and hopefully lose the skybet one and win the betfair one with no risk and no loss but it does not seem possible to me! There seems to be a possiblilty of losing ~20 on the combinations i've been doing.
So anyone know of bets I could make to solve my problem?
Am I being an idiot here or is it impossible as betfair's odds are much shorter than sky's?

Go to www.oddschecker.com and check where skybet are offering better odds than are available on betfair. You'll still losing a bit, as you'll need to pay commission with Betfair.

I tried this on numerous occassions as there were bookies closing down my accounts as I was making decent winnings. (Paddypower being the worst) so I tried to have some more losing bets on the accounts, so I tried the tactic I've just described. However, on the occassions I found Betfair odds shorter than PP, the bet invariably won almost every time! That leads me to think that if an event is shorter on Betfair than it is with the bookie, it's a value bet if you back it with the bookie you will earn profits in the long term.

This is the basis for all my betting these days (apart from following a couple of tipsters for interest).

For example, Coral are going 1.5 for River Plate to win tonight and it's 1.51 (minus 5%) with Betfair so if I fancied a bet I'd pick River Plate (not knowing anything about Argentinian football).

... bit off topic there, sorry!
