I'm looking to buy a laptop and haven't a clue where to start. After trawling through the net for a while, i've nearly decided on the Samsung R730.

I travel a lot so need it to be smallish, or at least not huge, and have good battery life. I'll be using it mostly for the internet, streaming video/playing through hard drive/ and poker software. Gaming (wow,etc..) isn't a big priority. I also don't mind the internal factors too much as i'll have external stuff like a 1tb hdrive an speakers etc...

If anyone owns one and can let me know whether its' a good buy and what extra specs i should throw in, or if anyone has any other suggestions for a laptop within the same price range (between 4 an 600) would really appreciate it as have no experience with laptops.
