I thought all those shells for small cars were the same throughout the full variant range for economic reasons. So a 1L shell would do the job.

Manufacturers just changed everything else, including the bodykits/subframes/suspension/wiring/brakes/engine etc etc etc etc etc.

Please correct me if Im wrong:D

Ya im sure your right all the shells are the same,But would make life a bit easier if i could find a turbo shell.Probaly will have to go down that road though because clean turbo shells are fairly rare
They made the campus up till 96 so a better chance of a rust free body

Rare? I reckon genuine clean R5GT chassis are extinct;);):D

Best of luck with your search!

PS, why not compare the part numbers of a r5gt and a campus chassis to see if they are the same?

Funny enough I stripped a mint left hand drive French one 10 odd years ago for spares for my own GT turbo. In the end sold my own and the rest ended up in my shed. The bare shell was the only part I didnt keep. Typical :) Have most of the panels though. Doors, bonnet, bootlid, glass, interior(except for the clocks and a few little bits), rear axle, engine, intercooler etc. I think I have the front wings, but with my memory I'm not sure. No rust in the bits that I know off though.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I think I do, yea. It would be in pearl white, but that's what rattle cans are for :D I'm not sure. Like I said I stripped the car right down to the bare shell, so I had all the parts. I did get shot of some of the parts to some plonker(who didnt pay me at the time), but that was some small interior stuff. I do seem to recall I have the grille. It's a big shed and dark. I'll have a look tomorrow. You're welcome to it if its there.

No luck with the grill I'm afraid. It may be under all the stuff but I can't find it. Sorry.
