hi all im a young male and i have quite a beak like nose and some bags under my eyes and some freckles but in a dim lit room my nose does not appear big at all and my eyes are fine and i think i look good looking or a lot better looking than in bright light or sunlight. Its somehat hard to explain but i feel myself that i look like a different person in the right kind of light. Im considering about getting a nose job eventually if i can save up the money but not even sure how much that wouyld help as its fine in the right light. So was just wondering should i be able and ould it be ok to use some make up to achieve the same look i have in my bedroom?
i also considering facial tanning but a bit too worried about the cancer risk and skin damage in later years. So are there any experienced make up artists that would have an idea of my problem as im really not sure of the best option?
id like someone who is not going to judge me too much and just give an honest opinion.
    thanks

Hey there, I am not a professional make-up artist but have done TV and Stage make-up. Sounds like a (foundation) highlighter stick is what you are looking for - it mimics sunlight directly on your face. Get hold of one and play around with it. You must blend it in so it doesn't look like it's just been slapped on. Highlighter (ususally reflective and quite white looking)accentuates and shader (darker than your skin tone) minimises. Generally, if someone had a bit of a Boy George nose I would highlight the main bone down the centre and put a bit of shader right under and at the tip. Remember the most critical person of you is you. Believe me, most people only see you and not your nose.. it's only a part of you - it doesn't define you. If this helps you feel better about your self right now though then work away but as you get older it really does become less important.

Please don't give this any more thought - the same effect can be gained from any of the cosmetic facial tanning applications on the market.
