Flip to side magnification mount?

Ok, I'm just after spending my first day airsofting with my G&G GR16 R4 (M16) and I'm wondering what ye would think about using a flip-to-side mount for a magnifier like here:

Its just that when people are kind enough to show themselves out from behind a tree, all I see is half their face and an AK firing on full auto, and, if I'm lucky, maybe their leg too. I hate having to empty a good bit a mag trying to get a hit when a few shots would suffice. Id love to be able to use a magnification tube when I want to, and then flip it to the side for close quarters combat.
Id also probaly use a holosight like in the photo and I'm wondering if placing it that far forward would pose problems with accuracy and the like

What do ye think about it, is it worth it?

    Thanks in advance, Laurence.

It won't make your shots more accurate by any major degree, if someones only exposing a small portion of themselves to be hit and you can't hit them with just a red dot sight a magnifier won't help you imo, it'll just magnify your misses.

Having the Eotech forward on the rail like that is grand, it's better being a bit down on the rail rather than right in your face as it gives you a bit more peripheral vision.
