    hi,
am teaching 6th class this year and we have just set up our own website which was easy enough on google sites. i'm hoping to start podcasts from the site but not really sure where to begin!! can someone please either tell me or point me in the right direction of what to do?!?!
also i've read that you should link a podcast to an rss file, what does this mean and/or do??? i'm not a total moron when it comes to technology so i'll let you know where i'm struggling!

so i know i'll have to have some sort of recording equipment and program, i'm thinking just a bog standard mike and use audacity???
once i convert the file to mp3 what next?!?! can you up load stuff to itunes?! and how does the rss come into the equation??

hopefully someone can give me some good advice!!
    thanks in advance!
