Android GPS Navigation guide/reviews

    Thought i'd post this cuz people seem to be always asking about GPS Navigation apps, but i couldn't see a dedicated thread to it.

    Anyway, this is the most complete set of nav apps and reviews I could find.

    I went with Sygic - it's a seriously good app, very quick to find things and places too once you learn the menu (took me about a day to find the fastest route to searching for things).

    That's a useful roundup. It's probably worth pointing out that all those apps are for street navigation. There's a whole other class of sat nav apps for off-road use (hiking, boating, mountain biking etc).

    Some apps in the latter class are Google MyTracks, Alpine Quest, Maverick and Orux Maps (my personal favourite).
