Iphone Tom Tom Car Kit

    Hi all again, if I purchase the tom tom car kit for the iphone do I need to use the tom tom app for full functions to work or would any sat nav app suffice......

    I think it works well with all. It's a gps enhancer and charger.
    Make sureit workswith your iPhone though.
    The one I have is not IP4 compatible.worked fine for 3GS

    Nanook the iPhone 4 does work with Tom Tom. When connected it's not thick enough to engage the power going to it. Easily modified wit a bit of Velcro or a rubber foot.

    if it's the tomtom kit you can get the adapter free of charge from them

    Sorry for hijacking the thread, but is there any way you can connect the unit to your car stereo if your stereo doesn't have an auxillary input?
