Anyone else looking forward to this tomorrow? Plato, Neal, Shedden and Onslow-Cole all have a chance of taking the title and it's live all day on ITV4 from 10:30. For anyone planning an entire day on the couch after the Japanese GP, I recommend it.

Realistically Onslow-Cole hasn't been quick enough at Brands and is too far behind in the points to take it but he should be a spanner in the works if he gets ahead of any of the rest.

Neal -v- Plato is always fun and Shedden's probably allowed off the leash. Between the usual carnage, reverse grids and ballast, it's going to be epic.

    Selected Odds:
    • Plato being in the gravel in Druids on Lap 1: Evens
    • Collard bringing out the safety car: 2/1
    • Neal making a monster lunge and getting away with it: 1/3
    • Plato moaning incessantly about the Ford engine whilst forgetting the time he spent in the vastly superior Diesel Seat or when the previous Chevy was fastest until they built a new car out of breezeblocks: Unbackable

A bit of a letdown in the end, Plato comfortably had the legs on everyone and wasn't under much pressure.

I am glad that Plato won it, he was very unlucky last year.
Most of his poor finishes last year were the result of his own rash actions. The Lacetti was probably the best all round car that year but he threw a way a load of points mid season by getting involved in trouble when a solid finish would have been the more prudent option. This year he was driving in a much more considered manner and is a completely deserving champion.

Turkington was easily the most deserving last year. He was consistent and wasn't the kind of driver to get involved in mindless aggression.
