Fox shooting in Castlebar

    I have just started collage in Castlebar Co. Mayo. I have got a place to store my rifle with the local RFD and now all I need is land. So before i head out knocking on doors on Monday, does anyone need/want foxes shot or know anyone who does. Also I have noticed a scarcity or rabbits around the place any ideas?

    well F.D. the best of luck to you, have a friend in achill told me the place is a wash with wild goats, told me they are everywhere destroying lawns and gardens, would'nt be a million miles from achill, onely asked me last week can he shoot them with a shotgun i asked could he get close enough he said not a bother, i never went up and been asked a few times. presum this would be dat time shooting dont know the laws on lamping them as never looked into it.

    Just get out there feilim, theres loads of fox's around., knock on doors, go to the mart in Balla on saturday's join one for the local gun clubs, the nearest to castlebar is belcarra I believe. If you are from Cork you wouln't be going home every weekend!! One of the problems around parts of Mayo is the farms and fields are very small, no such thing as 100 acre fields around here!!:D
