Ipod repairs

Friend of mine gave me his Ipod Nano a few months ago, it's been working great but lately the sound has been acting strangely: it sounds extremely faint and the vocals can't be made out. Friend of mine had a look at it and said the problem was with the audio jack, seems loose which is making the sound weird (we tried different earphones but no luck) Ipod is well out of warranty by this stage so I'd need to pay to get it fixed.

Anyone know how much these usually cost to fix/where's a good place in Galway to get it repaired? Preferably somewhere near town as I'm mad busy these days so getting out to Liosban would be harsh.

This the right place for it?

Was hoping for somewhere in Galway where I could get it repaired.

There's a place on the Liosban estate 'Galmac' I think it's called. It's across the road from the Elverys down there. They are the official Apple repair place in Galway.

    This too shall pass.
