I'm afraid I have Rob, and I'm absolutely gutted that I didn't get an opportunity to actually use it (I did test fire it indoors but that doesn't count). I hope to game with one in the not too distant future to see if it matches up to my expectations, I will let you know so you can have a look.

celcius m4 very promising product. but
my team of 14 who went to berget 8.3 have brought normal aegs,8 has systemas(9 systemas in total as one player has 2 systema lowers) and 3 with ctws (4 in total as one member brought 2 ctw lowers) 2 ctw owners brought regular aeg as back up. all of us had no trouble with our aeg but 3 ctw died out and only 1 survived because the owner used his back up aeg on the last day. the most annoying part was one member actually brought 2 ctw lower receiver and died out just 4 hours before the gamestart. imagine spending near a thousand euro to join an international event, to find out you have no gun to use? Very frustrating face if you were there. But quick thinking out of desperation he mix n match the parts of two receivers and bwala a working ctw. But still didnt last until the last day. As a clone it has its limitation as what tackleberry said "celsius did and excellent job copying systema that it event replicated its fault".The retailer is now replacing the faulty ctw with JG brand motors fingers crossed knowing JG they should do the job well.
Im not being biased as i was also looking to buy a ctw at one point when it was released. cheaper than systema and with my stock systema parts lying around the house i cound externally convert it to systema(carry handle, stock, foregrip.
performance wise ctw is nearly as accurate as systema, using black, blue and gold cylinder soundwise in my opinion-ctw sounds like a distressed motor compared to systemas.
visually ctws color is much lighter shade than systema.
well made externals no barrel wooble but check pad on stock is cheap looking.

nb.the first time ctw was released here in ireland i saw one tested on ratbegan unfortunately the ctw lipo battery smoked. the retailer was very good to replace the batt.

Why would you do that! That is a very fair review you put up m8! As we said in the vid this is a preview of the new V3 Celsius CTW.There were loads of faults on the first two version but fingers crossed Celsius have got their act together!

We have a second vid nearly ready of the gun being used in game play and Mark will give the gun a run down of what he thinks after actually playing with it!

I must admit - after having a go in game - I was highly impressed - the grouping at range had to be seen to be believed! Will try to have vid up later this week!

So lads, should I do it or not, I really want a CTW/PTW but its alot of money to be spending if the thing wont work or has these faults!
Like I have tested them and that at work but havent really gamed with one and Iam curious what they are like in the field?

Oh and does the new "V3" model have the old faults?

    Cheers,
    Ronan :)

If you predominantly play milsim and are willing to accept that it will need lots of TLC on the way I would recommend. Despite its foibles (specifically with the mags) I loved playing with it and if I had the money I would buy one.

However, if you don't regularly play milsim and would be happier with an AEG that doesn't need regular attention then I believe you would be better off with a quality, high-end gun from one of the better manufacturers.

As to whether all the issues have been ironed out in the V3 model I honestly can't say as I have no experience of the previous versions and only had the review Celsius for a relatively short time. I can confirm that it performed flawlessly for me and I would definitely buy one based on my time with it.
