"How To" sell a car these days

Any suggestions? I've now got four cars, one paid for, one supplied by my work and two I'm paying the bank for. I need to sell two of them! I was shocked when I bought the most recent one at how difficult it was to get a loan. I know, I should read the papers more - there seems to be something about an economic and banking issue going on now.
But seriously, is Carzone the way to go? My local garage? Ad in the local paer? Or, the main dealer that I bought the latest from has offered to put my nicer car up on his ramp where it is seen by thousands every day.
    What is working these days?

i've shifted a few bits over the last few months on donedeal.

my tips would be to was and polish your car, take some really good photos, inside too. avoid all the bluff like 'this is a reliable car'. stick it up and if its cleaner than all the other cars out there, price it cheaper than the rest of them and it'll shift quick. i sold one mint yoke in under 24 hours and received about 15 phone calls. be prepared to haggle too - there's a recession so everyone buying expects you to be broke and thinks they can rob you.......

now i was selling < 10k stuff - i'd imagine people spending big money are looking at different places.

Its def under 10k, the only thing that makes it stand out is that it is an '04 with only 21k miles on it. On the clean side because of low miles.
I don't need to shift it quickly but I don't want to put up a high price and wait months either.
I'll try some of the on line sites donedeal and adverts.ie. Anything good to say about Carzone.ie?

This is how to take pictures of a car:

Your photos, your description and your price earn you the phonecall/enquiry. It's only after that hurdle that it's up to you to sell the car.

I've quoted a post by Chris above as it's exactly what you need to do.

Clean/polish/hoover out the car and take pictures as they are above. Take pictures at all angles showing the whole car and take them in a wide open space i.e not a drive way. And do it when it's bright and dry.

Once you've done that post them up on donedeal.

You need to make a quality video to get people's interest:

You can't really sell the cars with a HP arrangement still active.
Also, the longer you leave it, the less you will get. Oversupply and lack of finances is driving prices down - we haven't hit the bottom of this recession yet. I've used www.gumtree.in to sell and buy motors.

Donedeal is the way to go and its where the buyers are looking!

If you've got a good, looked after, well maintained, sensibly priced car you will sell, no problem.

I sold an semi-auto / tiptronic petrol passat last week for a ton under asking. €2.5k

First buyer bought, had two others lined up. Was sold in 23 hours, first buyer rang within 5 minutes of the ad going live, the two other guys called within an hour! Pulled the ad as soon as it was sold as I didn't want any more calls!

Put up as much information as possible about the car in the ad.
As the others have already said, clean it and put up plenty of pictures of the interior and exterior of the car.

Sites that I have my car for sale on at the moment are:
    - Adverts
    - Donedeal
    - Gumtree
And also a few owners forums
