This question is specifically for cycling boardsies who drive as well.

Most clip on lights have at least two settings, flashing and solid light. Which is seen better when you're behind the wheel or indeed, is flashing more distracting?

I use both on the bike.

Back - Big double flashing cat-eye one on the seatpost, and fixed ones on each leg, either on an ankle strap or in the overshoe at the back. Front - Lupine light that makes cars dip their lights and slow down it's so feckin bright.

I may look like a lemon. But if I'm lit up like a christmas tree, I feel safer....

I favour one of each front and back. Flashing objects are more likely to catch the eye initially, continuously visible ones make it easier for others to track and judge distance.

    Flashing lights gets my vote.

I usually do search to see if a topic has been posted before but I was being a bit lazy.
