Also, are you looking for casual shirts or shirts to wear with a suit or in a more formal environment?

i was looking for something really smart to wear with jeans or trousers, to go out in. Night time go out, not daytime shopping or anything

Zara, Massimo Dutti, some of the John Francome range at TM Lewin, TK Maxx also worth a look.

Lewins is in South Anne Street, off Grafton Street. While you are there take a walk down Dawson Street towards Nassau Street and you'll pass a clutch of gentlemens outfitters such as Thomas Pinks and Jermyns.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    I second Thomas Pinks.

    Is Jermyns gone???

Jermyn's is still on Clare Street, the Dawson Street one is gone. I find TM Lewin better quality shirts and cheaper so go there. looperman, the only Massimo Dutti is in Dundrum, it's owned by Inditex - same as Zara - but their more upmarket brand. Zara itself obviously is on Sth King Street and Henry Street. Thomas Pink is just too expensive I find, but then it's LVMH.
