I cant speak for xenon bulbs in a Clulite but after maybe 15+years of hoicking a pair of 12v 7amp batteries around and then just 1 I decided to invest in a lithium battery.

The dogs b******s ! A good constant light right up to the moment it packs up ! This then leaves you with a walk in total darkness unless you packed a hand torch.

I have the 12v 10amp hour battery, half the weight of 1 12v 7 amp and more time out with it.

Mind you they are not cheap. My first one inexplicably packed up but was replaced under warranty. 18 months + plus and ten second is doing fine.

Myself and Seoirse1980 got 3 foxs on Wednesday night. A good night for a stroll!

i have a 12 volt 10 amp lithium ion battery pack as well and i only bought it two months ago its a brilliant little yoke i was very cautious about buying one and it took me a good few week to decide to buy one or not but now i am very glad i did i am after being out lamping with it with the dogs and me and the dogs were knackered tired and it was still going and i was out for nearly 3 hours so my advise if you had the cash buy one you wont be disappointed i bought mine for €170 i know its very expensive but its well worth it
