Hi everyone, apologies if this is the wrong section. :o

I've been trying to set up a new printer onto my laptop, but it keeps saying 'Error 1327 Drive F'. I've deleted the old printer, and made sure I have loads of memory.

I googled it, and most sites say to find the wrong data entry, and then edit the registry. How do I do this?

I have found the data in the registry editor that seems to be the problem, the name is 'My Pictures', the type is REG_SZ, and the data is 'F:\My Pictures'.

    Can anyone help?

    Is that a HP printer?

Even if it isn't, you don't have to install the crapware that comes with it. Unless you want it ofcourse. Windows can add the printer itself, it just needs the drivers, not the fat ass photo applications that come with it. I'm guessing that if you're installing the software, it's looking to put some unwanted crap into your My Pictures folder, and it's having a problem because your My Pictures folder is located somewhere other than normal! Do you have a drive F?
