    Hi

Anyone ever bought this satellite kit from B&Q. I am more interested to the HD receiver.

Not sure if it is good? Appreciate your comments.

    thanks

Unless it's "freesat HD" logo don't bother.

Do not buy one, the boxes are low grade and the dishes are terrible. Spend an extra few quid on a proper fta system such as a technomate receiver, or better still as Watty stated get yourself a Freesat labeled box.

save your money, buy a FREESAT enabled receiver & a decent dish, install it correctly and you are set, get a ross or lidl receiver you will be disappointed, to many channels to sort out, and constant frequency changes will put you off satellite tv for life,

from a picture quality point of view or from the functionality of the box as in changing channels etc. ?

For the functionality. The Freesat box works like a sky box, it automatically updates whenever channels change frequency on the satellite and also it adds new channels automatically when they are launched.
