Ireland Quiz on Sporcle

    I was a little bored, so I made a quiz on Ireland on Sporcle.

    The link is here.

    It's along the same lines as the quizzes they have on the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, etc.

    If you're a little bored, have a go. It's only seven minutes long. It's the first one I made, so go easy. :-)

    Warning: Sporcle is very addictive!

    I got 38, I knew the answers to a few more, just couldn't remember how to spell them.

    Stupid tanaiste and name.

    I got 40, would have got more cept I can't spell to save my life... Aras an Uctairain? Amhrain nabFhiann? Carantouhil? And I wasted time trying to spell Yeats as Yates! There were about 4 or 5 I outright didn't know.

    They're the answers that appear at the end. While you're playing it would accept "aras" for President's residence, or "Soldier's Song" for national anthem, etc.

    I got 47, spelt Amhrán na bhFiann wrong otherwise it would have been 48. great quiz. I love sporcle

    Second time around I got 45, because I'd got more skilled at Sporkle (Haven't used it much before) so I tried variations like "Soldiers Song". Aras didn't give me the right answer first time around! Must have been a website glitch.

    Great quiz, thanks for making it!

    I did then go on to name the 32 counties but that was too easy. I tried playing the United Kingdom version of your quiz with my English boyfriend, but I knew more answers than he did. Named 47 of the 50 US states then, couldn't spell Connecticut or Mass. That state the Pixies are from, still can't. Forgot Louisiana. Usually if naming the 50 states I get about 48 or 49. I like memorising lists. Wont dare to admit how many of the original 151 Pokemon I got :pac:
