iphone 4 quality at concerts?

    has anyone recorded any gigs with the iphone 4 camera? I dont know if I should use mine or borrow a hd flip

    its surprisingly good. great audio, and video if your close enough.

    Tip. When recording at very loud gigs, hold your hand over the mic on the iPhone. You'll get a better sound in the recording.

    It is very good but beware of the size of the video file. HD = big assed file. Difficult to transfer to anything else via email or upload. The other thing is that voice memo can take pretty good audio recordings at gigs.

    tbh theres not a whole lot of difference between the size of say a 1 min vid in 720p and 480p
