I'm on vodafone and would like to know if its possible to get a microsim from them for my number for use in the ipad as well as with my phone ie. do both sims work simultaneously? Seems unlikely!

Is there any other suggestions for a cheap sim to use with the ipad? If I got a voda sim and signed up to 360 then I could get 100mb of data for 39c a day.
Would there be a minimum monthly spend?

    thanks

What not just get a microSIM from Vodafone for your iPad? There is no advantage in having the same number for it.

The 360 direction is good.. 100mb a day for 39c is unbeatable especially since you can use it abroad. You will need to top up regularly and to sync your contacts at least once every 30 days.

yeah, I use 360 on my iphone and it is great value. i don't want to have to commit to another 20e a month to use the ipad 3g service occassionally.
I had to top up my iphone vodafone credit today to continue to get the free 087 calls&texts and use 360 and I still had 12.68 left from last months e20!
Would be great if I could just clone the sim card
    Thanks for your help.

I have found that you only ever need to top up once by 20€. Subsequent top-ups of just 10€ were sufficient to maintain the 0,39c rate.
