Insulation Rolls

I know this has been done to death but I'm just wondering if any one has news on current deals for rolls of attic insulation. I'd be particurlarly interested in the Knauf Ecose product.

I got 24 rolls of B&Q 175mm insulation for €295 on Sunday. They were doing 3 for 2 offer and I had a 15% off coupon.

I think that worked out around 132 sq/m's.

Homebase in the north are selling Knauf 150mm rolls for 8 Pound - buy one get one free. So 4 Pound a roll. It says 10 pound on the website but that is not correct. I think this offer is still on and you can get them to order it for you at this price. Check out their website.

I'm getting Knauf Ecose rolls in Douglas Hardware in Birr Co Offaly for 13.50 a roll inc vat

Brooks have an offer on for 10 rolls of 150mm Knauf loftwool for €159 incl VAT, or simply €15.90 per roll. I think each roll is near enough to 6 SQ Meter

At present, yes. But they have a habit of having a sale around X-mas/New Year where the have a BOGOF. I got it 2 years ago & insulated my attic to a depth of 300mm for less than €700. I noticed they had the same offer last year-end. The Knauf space blanket is very handy to install as it has a bio-degradable cover on it & will not annoy the hell out of you like the fibre glass stuff would:)

They wont be selling it for less than 13 eur.

Reason for it being that price,is becasue they got in the wrong order and it was their misstake.They couldnt send it back,so they were stuck with it.

They had it priced at 45 eurp a roll and couldnt shift it,so to cut their losses they sold it off at 13 euro a roll to get it out of their warehouse and make way from other diy stuff for Xmass.

My mate works in Homebase and he let me know that it was going to be going for 13 euro a roll,before it actually went on sale for 13 euro.;)

Price is on the move here big time down south anyway, massive stock shortages at the mo. €13? buy all you can.
