    Hi All,

Does anyone know if employers are legally required to disclose their identity when advertising vacant positions / actively recruiting?

I had two interviews recently (for an office management position) with a company (one phone and one face to face) before they would tell me the name of the company and the nature of the business.

(I had done a bit of detective work after the initial phone interview and found out about the company before attending the face to face interview, I'm not sure if I would have gone otherwise...!?)

    Any thoughts?

    Ladybiker.

recruiter wont tell until the last minute in an effort to keep the job role secret so that they are the only one forwarding a potential a new member of staff.

however unless the recruiter is exclusivley tied into the company its more than likely that the client is using 3 to 4 recruiters for the one position.
