Film Festivals

I've been following the thread on Horrorthon. Whatever about the merits of this particular one, I like the idea of film festivals. What ones are there? I've found the Waterford Film Festival, which runs from the 5th to the 7th of November.

What else is out there? Does anyone have any good or bad experiences?

Most of the films are a few years old and may be considered quality films. Incld films from Suzanne Bier, Erik Van Looy and a 'spotlight on Simon Staho' (never heard of any of them).

I'm unsure of the longevity in describing films as 'subtitled'. Surely ever film has the potential to be subtitled. The programme looks very good.
