ipad restore file

    Hey,
    Got an ipad from adverts and he left it jailbroken but didnt tell me the root password, i tried to get around it... long story short its not even turning on now.

    im booting up in itunes now and want to restore but not to the latest software (shift [Restore button in itunes])... its asking for the "iPod/iPhone/iPad software files (*.ipsw)"

    Where can i download this from ? whats the last version of the software that was jailbreak-able ?

    dont need this answered anymore, couldnt restore to my old firmware, needed to restore and upgrade to latest version.
    Ill downgrade later on.

    If you only want to downgrade so that you can JB it then you don't really need to bother. The new JB which will work for the current 3.2.2 ios is out this weekend.
