advice needed

    What sort of action can someone take, if their employer is unwilling to continue funding an education programme, under the basis that the employee did not contact their office to advice they were taking a deferral even though the requirement to was not mentioned in the learning contract or verbally.

    Also who anyone have any advice where I could possibly search for case study’s on the above. tks :
