Recommendation for wireless microphone/earpiece setup for people with brain injury

    Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the best (and by that I include cost effective ;)) system would be for people with selective attention impairment?

Basically people with a mild brain injury can often experience difficulty staying on task when in noisy environments - either experience distraction or intense stress or a sense of being overwhelmed.

This has obvious implications for people's social lives, as they avoid situations with loud noises - cafe's, pubs, restaurants, etc.

One of the solutions we're looking at in work is to use microphones and earpieces to amplify the person doing the talking for the benefit of the person trying to hear them above the noise.

So we'd need a radio mic, or other form of discrete amplification device that would then route through to an earpiece (ideally wirelessly).

Has anyone any familiarity with this type of gadget?

All advice would be greatly appreciated.
