Collarum is an American trap. The great problem with them lies in the legal status of badgers in this part of the world. Badgers aren't protected in the USA (to the best of my knowledge, different states may vary).

I bet you will have quite a few problems with stripey lads in it. I considered getting one when they were half price at their UK introduction. I talked to USA makers, UK retailers, and UK testers. Conclusion was fine where there are no badgers, trouble where there are badgers.

I think this particular device is on the clock before it's disallowed in the UK and likely to follow suit here.

ya releasing a badger out of one of them could certainly be more than interesting alright. I know most of the badgers movements around our farm so hopefully will be able to avoid this situation.
