I plan on updating the stickys, they’re a couple of years old and need a dusting down. I’m looking for opinions/suggestions of places that should to be listed, places that pride themselves on the product they serve; please bear this in mind when you’re posting. I’ll do my best to include all suggestions but if it’s getting unwieldy then I’ll to cut it back.

    1. Speciality Café’s:

    2. Shops that sell speciality coffee:

    3. Shops that sell coffee equipment:

Please post your suggestions below. When I get this done I’ll edit the OP with the content from here.

    Speciality Cafes

I just wrote an article about this. I found one called "salt and pepper" I think it was called on Middle Abbey street.

Guy uses hasbean coffee and very good barista.

As for places to buy stuff. www.hasbean.co.uk all day long for me. Has such a good range of coffee and equipment.

coffeegod.ie is selling a Gaggia set at the moment for €450 which is very cheap considering what you get

    Speciality Cafes:

Waterford - Lattetude - good quality, fairtrade beans, well trained baristas, and to be honest, the best coffee in such a small city (If anyone wants to argue with me there, I'd be more than delighted to hear of others)

Dingle - Murphys (www.icecreamireland.ie) - quite possibly the best coffee I have ever tasted outside of Italy. Again, handpicked, fairtrade, handroasted beans. I visit Kerry about once every 2 months and that's my first and last stop.

Dublin - The Decent Cigar Shop - absolutely beautiful Cuban bean espressos - they kindly gave me one last week while I was trying to choose different coffees for my other half, and I promptly bought half the shop.
