Ac130 Or Chopper Gunner?

My Favorite - AC130 because of the fact that by presing one button you can get a triple kill so easily.

They're both good on different maps and gametypes. Overall I find AC-130 more fun and satisfying to use, but I'd get more kills with the Chopper Gunner.

AC130 is more fun. Got one on skidrow before - zero kills - just flew around enjoying the scenery

AC130 by far, chopper gets shot down too easily. I personally get alot moe kills with the AC even if the chopper isnt shot.

The AC-130 for me. I remember getting it in a care package once, I was delighted. Then I realized it was Skidrow. Got one kill, the rest of the time I was just trying to hit into doorways, hoping I'd get a kill.

Earned it in Wasteland though, plenty of kills that time.

Ac-130 for me, chopper gets shot down too quickly, depends on the map though, the chopper is beastly on Terminal. Ever get an ac-130 on Rust? fun isnt the word as theres nowhere to hide a well placed shot wont hit. Its a pain on Skidrow, though, unless its a domination game and you have B and C flags, having the other team spawntrapped at A is shooting fish in a barrell, multikill after multikill.

I wish more teams would have the cop on to go into the bunker on Wasteland when my ac-130 is up though, i do it when teammates have one so the enemy all spawn outside it.

I always do this now after reading it on this forum a few weeks back. Never thought of it before.....duh!!!

At this stage its rare that a chopper gunner stays in the air.. Like my paper airplanes AC130 however is much much more difficult to make effective, at least in my hands.

kinda depends for me . if theres a lot of indoor areas given the right angle you can still hit people inside a building thanks to the larger splash damage on 2 of the weapon types for the ac-130. chopper gunner is easier to get kills with if you get them all outdoor on a map like wastland or say derailed

If you fire the Chopper Gunner into windows, doors etc. the bullets will bounce around and kill, more so than the AC130. If you miss a bit with the AC cannons it will explode beside walls and protect the enemies inside.

You really need to lower sensitivity before using either for maximum accuracy

In terms of a choice, I agree with Kersmash, really depends on map and gametype.

The Chopper Gunner with Danger Close Pro is possibly my favourite thing in MW2

Just a random question - does danger close make claymores more effective? Because i remember using them ith danger close and it didnt make a difference

I find it's easier to get kills with Chopper for me personally, obviously people like Sandy Ravage might prefer the AC .AC takes alot more skill with timing Only downside is it takes 1 stinger to take out the Chopper, and 3 for the AC. Overall though I would get more kills with the chopper.

Whenever I have a chopper gunner it's near guaranteed to be shot down within 10 seconds, at least 9 out of 10 times. But if someone else has one they rake in the kills

So that's why I stick with the AC130 if anything, I also get more enjoyment out of using the AC130 as well.

AC130 all day long. Choppers get shot down to easily (I'm looking at you, Tallon :mad: )
