So today was the launch of the MAC Disney Venomous Villans collection and it is beautiful!! I will be getting 4 pieces of it tomorrow...put them on hold at 5pm today as half the stuff was already nearly sold out!!! Cant wait to sit in tomorrow night (coz i'll be broke!) and play with it!!

The packaging rocks!! You can have a look at some of the stuff here http://www.sugarscape.com/main-topics/fashion-beauty/568093/mac-releases-disneys-venomous-villians?page=0,1

Anyone else get/getting some?? What do you think about the idea and products?

Apart from the Disney pictures, is there anything which separates this makeup from 'normal' MAC products?

I really don't see the attraction, TBH. Just a smart marketing ploy by MAC.

I went in for a look today and if I'm honest, none of the stuff caught my attention at all :o
I'm usually mad for the MAC special collections, but this one I just wasn't keen on for some reason.

I'm sure tons of people will have great fun with it though :)

The packaging is lovely - but I didnt' really see anything new in the collection TBH. There are some dual eyeshadows that I'm pretty sure that I bought a few years back in another collection. It's a nice marketing ploy but as far as I'm concerned, that's about it. (just like to add that I am a big MAC fan).

Ooh I was very excited about this! I am a huge Disney fan :D Might be heading down to Cork on Sunday so might drop in to Brown Thomas and have a gander maybe get a lipstick.

Some of the colours aren't available outside of this collection......aaannnddd I'm a sucker for Disney!!!
I got Mineralised Eyeshadow in 'My Dark Magic' - dark sparkely purple (Maleficent)
Beauty Powder in 'Oh So Fair' - very pale pink (Evil Queen)
Lipstick in 'Violetta' (Maleficent) - this is available as a pro product outside of ireland afaik
Lipglass in 'Wicked Red' - a bright gorgeous red (Cruella Du Ville)

The packaging is just so cool...think I would have bought some of it even if the colours hadn't been great :D

Am I really the only one who bought some?? Guess I'm a sucker!! :p

I think the packaging is a bit tacky if I'm honest, it looks cheap and child-like. Nothing really stuck out for me, but then again I'm more a fan of MAC foundations/base products rather than their eyeshadows or lipsticks
